About the Section for Residents and Fellows-in-Training
The Section for Residents and Fellows-in-Training was created in 2000 to get residents involved in Academy initiatives. The Section was born out of the Committee of Residents in Training, which had been in existence for over 5 years. Residents have been given a vote on the Board of Governors and a representative on the AAO-HNS Board of Directors. All residents and fellows-in-training who are members of the Academy are automatically members of the Section.
