Academy Headquarters is Moving!
The Academy will be moving offices on August 22, 2008. Our office will be closing at 2:00 pm EST on Thursday, August 21st and will re-open on Tuesday, August 26th at 8:30 am EST. All correspondence received after 2:00 pm EST on Thursday, August 21st will be responded to upon our return on Tuesday, August 26th. Our new address is 1650 Diagonal Road, Alexandria VA 22314-2857.

Are you ready to make a difference? If so, the Section for Residents and Fellows is seeking candidates to apply for positions on the SRF Governing Council and Appointed Officers. Voting for officers will take place during the SRF General Assembly at the Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO on Monday, September 22, 2008. Apply Now! Deadline: September 2, 2008.
Another way you can make a difference is by submitting a resolution. A resolution is a request for the Section to take action, consider an idea or strategy, and/or adopt policy or take a position. Getting some colleagues with the same opinion to “co-sponsor” the resolution only makes it stronger. Make a difference - Submit a Resolution! Deadline: September 2, 2008.

Free! Head and Neck Surgery Resident Education Symposium
This half day session will provide a comprehensive overview of the current standards, surgical techniques, and study topics. This event is organized by the American Head and Neck Society (ANS) and will be held during the AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 20 from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, at the McCormick Place Convention Center in room E350.
Second Annual Resident Academic Bowl

Visit the AcademyU Learning Lab located in the McCormick Place Convention Center in room S401D. Try your hand at sampling a course and explore our catalog of online continuing medical education (CME) activities. Staff will be available to assist you and answer your questions.
